The Blue Elves

Feïwal is the guide of the clan of Filweni and the most renown navigator of the kingdom of Essawylor. He is also known as a master shipwright who supervised the construction of the mightiest ship of the kingdom’s fleet, the Alwïryan. With his elder sister Arwela and his young brother Nelwiri, he sets sail to cross the Austral ocean and reach the Lost islands.

Bloodline: 13 - Descends from Filwen, the fabled navigator also founder of one of the 29 Irawenti clans. Third child of his father Fadalwy.
Nelwiri is the pilot of the Alwïryan and a famous sailor from the kingdom of Essawylor. Second in command after his elder brother Feïwal, he is revered for his knowledge of the ocean and famous for his numerous heroic feats onboard. He inspires the rest of the crew with his bold deeds and unflinching bravery. A tall and thin Elf for an Irawenti, he is also an incomparable navigator, despite his apparent playful recklessness.

Arwela is a beautiful and elegant Irawenti lady with long dark hair flowing in the wind. She is the elder sister of Feïwal and Nelwiri, considered by many to be the wisest of her people, skilled in healing and in the reading of the stars. Love for her brothers and her commitment to the clan’s quest have driven her on this long and perilous voyage to the Lost Islands. She makes use of her considerable learning, and her deep understanding of the souls of the sailors, to ward off bad fortune and to inspire hope.

Origin: Bay of Essaweryl in the kingdom of Essawylor
Bloodline: 10 - Descends from Fel, founder of one of the 29 Irawenti clans. Niece of Luwir dyn Filweni, she is a cousin of Arwela, Feïwal and Nelwiri. She now belongs to the clan of Filweni.
Fendrya is known as the “Keeper of Pearls” among the Irawenti community, the lady who is in charge of rewarding the most valuable members of the clan with beautiful sea pearls. Status and ranking among the clan of Filweni thus depends on her judgement. She possesses great skill of hands and is particularly gifted with the handling of needles which requires both patience and perseverance, hence her reputation as a great embroiderer and sawyer.

The Green Elves

Lyrine dyl Llyvary
Also known as 'the Lady of Llafal'

Bloodline: 16 - Descends from Matriarch Llyvary, the first daughter of the Llewenti Queen Llyoriane and the deity Eïwal Vars. Her father was Yluin dyl, Protector of the Forest.
Lyrine is the most powerful of the nine matriarchs of Llymar Forest. As the elder lady of clan Llyvary, she governs the city of Llafal, located on the northern shores of Nyn Llyvary. Her control of the Islands’ Flow and her influence among the Llewenti communities have no equivalent. She is the mother of Nyriele.

Bloodline: 18 - Descends from Matriarch Llyvary on her mother ‘s side and also from Matriarch Avrony on her father’s side, respectively the first and fifth daughter of the Llewenti queen Llyoriane and the deity Eïwal Vars. High priestess of Eïwele Llyi, Nyriele is the lone inheritor of special powers of foresight. The noble blood of two Llewenti clans flows through her veins. She is the daughter of the Elder Matriarch Lyrine and Gal dyl, last warlord of clan Avrony. The Green Elves show her immense respect for her divinations. This young lady appears like the finest and most graceful creature who could ever be conceived, a divine being whose natural beauty is overwhelming. She is revered by all as the worthy descendant of Queen Llyoriane.

Dyoren the Seventh
Also known as ‘the Lonely Seeker’

Bloodline: 14 - Descends from Matriarch Ernaly, the third daughter of the Llewenti queen Llyoriane and the deity Eïwal Vars.
Eldest dyn of the clan Ernaly, and elder brother of Mynar dyl. He is widely known as the Seeker, a solitary traveler whose songs and music earned him the reputation of the greatest Llewenti bard that was ever known to walk the paths of the Archipelago. His shining blade is adorned with the brightest emeralds. Dyoren carries it bare upon his back, as no sheath could contain it. This legendary broad sword distinguishes him as the sacred envoy of a secret order, to which all Green Elves owe their respect.

Mynar dyl is an important figure in the forest of Llymar, the most powerful dyl of the clan Ernaly. As warlord of Tios Halabron, he is the true master of the city of trees. A life of wandering through hostile territory has built his fierce character: he is eager for the blood of his enemies. He is known throughout the forest of Llymar as a ruthless, unforgiving chief. All his actions, all his efforts, are driven by an innate desire to plan, to act and to rule. His extraordinary, highly developed set of abilities as a bard and a scholar distinguishes his clear superiority in such affairs.

Gal dyl Avrony

Origin: City of Llafal, (originally from the Isle of Nyn Avrony) Bloodline: 12 - Descends from Matriarch Avrony, the last daughter of the Llewenti queen Llyoriane and the deity Eïwal Vars.
Gal dyl demonstrates an undeniable power, and his haughty bearing clearly exhibits his noble origins. He is the last in his lineage; as no other survived the barbarian invasion that led to the fall of Nyn Avrony, their island. Gal dyl Avrony is a survivor, a refugee who has found asylum in Llymar. He nevertheless hold a prominent position in the forest, having won the heart of the most prominent Matriarch, Lyrine. Nyriele, the most beautiful Elvin lady of her time, is their daughter.

Bloodline: 15
Master Aertelyr is a navigator from Nyn Llyandy whose merchant company, the Breymounarty, controls maritime trade outside of the kingdom of Gwarystan sea routes. He is renown as a clever smuggler and a wise merchant. Thanks to the numerous services he offers, he is viewed as a trusted ally and valuable friend both in the forest of Llymar and in the principalty of Cumberae.

The High Elves

Rowë Dol Nargrond
Also known as 'The Tireless Bladesmith' or 'The Lord of the Valley'

Profession: Alchemist

Origin: Nargrond Valley (originally from the Gods Isle)
Bloodline: 22 - Son of Nargrond, the smith of the High King of the Elves, Melindro.
Rowë was entrusted the guardianship of the Valley by King Lormelin after its conquest. Creator of the Alchemists Guild of Yslla, Rowë is the chief of the Bladesmiths who made the fabled swords of Nargrond. He left a considerable legacy. His testament was buried with him and is meant to contain prophetic warnings about the survival of the Lost Islands Elves.

Falmaril
Also known 'the Sage Bladesmith'. His birth name was Elrian Dol Urmil (lingua Hawenti).

Origin: Yslla in Nargrond Valley (originally from Urmilla in the Isle of Nyn Llorely)
Bloodline: 18 - Son of Wal dyn Filweni and Luriane Dol Urmil, the lord of Urmilla's daughter, Falmaril is one of the grandsons of Filwen the Irawenti Navigator. Falmaril is also the father of Dyoren the First.
Last of the four Bladesmiths to have joined the Alchemists Guild of Yslla, Falmaril is one of the makers of the fabled swords of Nargrond. His skills as a shipwright and his mastery of the Aquamarine and Sapphire Flow contributed to the unique design of the legendary blades. Falmaril was greatly influenced by his father's people, the Blue Elves, and was known to be a worshipper of Gweïwal Uleydon.

Eneos
Also known 'the First Seeker' or 'the Son of the Valley'.

Bloodline: 20 - Son of Bladesmith Falmaril and Atya, the daughter of Bladesmith Odro, Eneos is one of the descendants of Bladesmith Elriöl and Bladesmith Rowë. Treasurer of the Guild of Sana, Eneos is one of the heroes who participated to the Battle of the Mines in 1,000 LC as commander of the Falmareans. Being part of the few survivors, he then became known as Dyoren the First, the seeker of the swords of Nargrond.

Curubor Dol Etrond

Bloodline: 19 - Third grandson of Etrond, hero of the First Age knighted Dol by the first high king of the Elves, Melindro.
Even among the immortal High Elves, Curubor is considered ancient. He is amongst those who saw the end of the First Age and one of those who reached the Archipelago at King Lormelin’s side. After his family’s territories fell under the dominion of the barbarians, he chose to settle in Tios Lluin, an antique city of the Green Elves, whose ruins are at the heart of the forest of Llymar. Assisted by numerous enchanters and artisans, he is also known as the guardian of Tios Lluin for he resolved to restore the city of stones to its former might.

Bloodline: 16 - Unique daughter of Almit Dol Etrond and Nuviele Dol Ogalen
Lady Loriele spent most of her youth in Gwarystan, the capital city of the High Elf king. It was often murmured at the royal court that no other Elvin Lady could make a finer queen. She is venerated for her sovereign beauty and admired for her remarkable intelligence and education, though some consider her childish.

Terela is the princess of Cumberae, heir to the throne of the principality. Known for her fighting prowess, she is often seen on her father's side in the middle of the most bloodthirsty battles. She was meant to marry the king of Gwarystan until he formerly refused, thus provoking the rebellion of House Dol Nos-Loscin.

Miglor is the most ancient being to have set foot on the Lost Islands. He is one of the few High Elves who walked alongside the Greater Gods and survived the First Age. He lives in his tower on the isle of Nyese, in Cumberae. Known as the most powerful wizard of the Lost Islands, he cares only for his studies and research.

Bloodline: 18 - Son of Roen Dol Lewin, direct heir of Lewin, hero of the First Age knighted Dol by the first high king of the Elves, Melindro.
Roquendagor is of high lineage, heir to one of the most powerful houses of the kingdom of the Five Rivers. He is young for the force that he can muster and yet his natural authority gives him the command of an elder. Roquendagor has no fear. He is inhabited only by certainty. He studied and practised warfare and personal combat for such a long time that he believes his skill is unmatched. He is also uniquely talented at designing new instruments and sketching out construction plans. He excels in mental disciplines that have a pragmatic purpose, while he despised all abstract academic subjects, which he leaves to those he regards as weak, loquacious scholars.

Bloodline: 17 - Descends from Lewin, hero of the First Age knighted Dol by the first high king of the Elves, Melindro.
Camatael, the third Lord Dol Lewin in the history of the House’s second branch, is a powerful, skilled Elf and a subtle diplomat, extremely well versed in the ways of Elvin nobility. Camatael has frequent dealings with guild masters, stewards, merchants, captains and sailors, as well as druids and priests of the deities. He has precise knowledge of many fields; numerous subjects sought his help, on issues ranging from trade and diplomacy to architecture and religion. Although slim and young, he already has a majestic character with his long black hair, a pale and austere face, and icy blue eyes that hold both intelligence and learning. His rugged features reveals his superiority.

All acknowledge the talent of the great minstrel, Curwë who knows how to regale his audience with his cheerful talk and merry tales. Such is the infectious nature of the bard with green eyes; he always looks to the future and celebrates, with endless merriment and laughter, the beauty, joy and absurdity of life. His beautiful eyes have the colour of shining green, so unusual among the High Elves that it was thought, among the young Elvin females, that Curwë’s emerald eyes possess a mighty bewitching power, capable of charming any Elvin female according to his will.

Bloodline: 20 - Son of Sana, the Princess of the Night Elves, Elriöl is also the father of Saeröl.
Second of the four bladesmiths to have joined the Alchemists Guild of Yslla, Elriöl is one of the makers of the fabled swords of Nargrond. He forged the blades of the six mighty weapons thanks to his mastery of the Amethyst Flow. Elriöl is the master of the Sana Guild and the lord of the Night Elves in the Lost Islands.

Saeröl Dir Sana
Also known as 'the Bard of Discord'

Origin: Menstoro (originally the valley of Nargrond in Gwa Nyn)
Bloodline: 18 - Descends from Sana, the princess of Twilight Woods.
Saerö̈l is the fabled master of the Guild of Sana, a power far more dangerous than any other Elves in the Lost Islands and who it was believed was long departed. He is a scholar of the shadows, capable of commanding the darkest forces, surrounded by myrmidons whose devotion is implacable. His natural assurance imbues his words with a deep wisdom. Saeröl is the sage of the infamous, the bard of discord, and the mage of the cursed. His natural, cold grace could be interpreted as a kind of serenity, but he seems to be filled with pride, disdain, and contempt for all that is not Morawenti.

Aewöl Dir Sana

Bloodline: 18 - Descends from Sana, the princess of Twilight Woods.
Aewöl is one of the few Elves of Morawenti origin who lived in Essawylor. The offspring of a fallen house, his bloodline is all but spent, and he now preserved only the vestige of his former strength. Yet he is still endowed with rare talents and powers. Aewö̈l is especially able to discern what is hidden in consciences and to draw out the truth from its hidden veins. Aewöl was master of the smiths' guild of Ystanlewin in the days of Essawylor and an alchemist of great skill; his phenomenal natural intelligence and innate gift for handiwork is combined with an insatiable passion for self-improvement.

Gelros

Bloodline: 8 - Unknown
Gelros is a tireless hunter but also a merciless assassin. The Night Elf likes to travel light, dressed in dark green and brown clothes, hidden beneath a long cloak. His war tactics are based on stealth, agility and intelligence rather than brute force. He owes his reputation to his archery skills. With enough strength to wield a great black yew bow, he can shoot many arrows over a great distance with deadly accuracy. Gelros called it his “Cruel Bow”, and he worshipped it as a faithful companion. To his mind, war is not a contest of honour, but rather a hunt, in which there are winners and losers. Life is the stake of that great game and, so far, he has managed to stay alive.

Drismile
